Consent (required for most processing under India’s DPDP Act, and for certain processing under GDPR and CCPA)
Performance of a contract with you
Compliance with a legal obligation
Our legitimate business interests, including those of the Raamello group as a whole, provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights

Any third party with your consent or at your direction
We do not “sell” personal information in the traditional sense; however, under CCPA/CPRA’s broad definition, certain data-sharing arrangements (e.g., for advertising) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing.” Where applicable, we provide a mechanism to opt out, as described in Section 9.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and this Policy does not apply to information collected by any third-party site or service linked from our Services.
COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, analyze usage, and deliver personalized content and advertising.
For users in the EU/UK and India, we will request opt-in consent for non-essential cookies via a cookie consent banner, as required by applicable law.
For users in the US, we provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism where applicable.
Continued use of the Services after being presented with cookie choices constitutes consent, to the extent permitted by law.
DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including for the purposes of satisfying legal, accounting, dispute resolution, or reporting requirements, or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law. Under the DPDP Act, we will erase personal data when the specified purpose is no longer being served and retention is not required by law, subject to applicable exceptions. Retention periods may vary by data type and business need, at our discretion within legal limits.
DATA SECURITY
We implement reasonable security safeguards, including reasonable security practices as required under the DPDP Act, and appropriate technical and organizational measures as required under GDPR, designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk.
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected individuals and/or relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., the Data Protection Board of India, a competent EU/UK supervisory authority, or applicable US authorities) as required by applicable law.
YOUR RIGHTS
Your rights depend on where you are located:
If you are located in India (DPDP Act), you have the right to: access information about your personal data being processed; correct, complete, and update your personal data; erase your personal data (once the purpose is served and retention is not legally required); nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal). You may also file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
If you are located in the EU/UK (GDPR), you have the right to: access, rectify, or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are located in the US (CCPA/CPRA, and applicable state laws), you have the right to: know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any applicable rights, please submit a request to [contact/email], along with sufficient information to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (e.g., generally 30 days under DPDP Act and GDPR; 45 days under CCPA, extendable as permitted). We reserve the right to decline requests that are unfounded, excessive, unverifiable, or not permitted under applicable law.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, including jurisdictions where Raamello group companies operate. Where required (e.g., under GDPR for transfers outside the EEA/UK, or under the DPDP Act for cross-border transfers), we will implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or rely on jurisdictions/mechanisms permitted by the relevant data protection authority. By using the Services, you acknowledge and, where legally required, consent to such transfers.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Services are not directed to children. Age thresholds vary by jurisdiction: under the DPDP Act, individuals under 18 are considered children and require verifiable parental consent; under GDPR, the threshold is generally 16 (or as low as 13, depending on the EU member state); under CCPA, additional protections apply to users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information without required consent, we will take steps to delete it.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Raamello and its group companies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the collection, use, disclosure, or loss of information, including damages resulting from unauthorized third-party access, except as required by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including statutory data protection obligations).
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole discretion. Material changes will be notified to users as required by applicable law (e.g., advance notice may be required under GDPR or DPDP Act for changes affecting consent-based processing). Changes will otherwise be effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [jurisdiction, e.g., India], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable local data protection law mandates otherwise for users in that jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [city, jurisdiction], or resolved through arbitration as set forth in our Terms of Service, subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable consumer or data protection law.
